The X-Men is a family of mutant superheroes who operate in the X-Mansion and regularly fight against the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants & other mutant villains. Many members of the X-Men helped fight Doctor Doom and his team of villains in the videogame LEGO Marvel Superheroes.
Appearances in Story[]
The X-Men are the largest team of heroes in LEGO Marvel Superheroes, and they play a major role in defeating many villains working under Dr. Doom.
The only X-Men that are played with during story mode are Cyclops, Wolverine, and Jean Grey. Cyclops and Jean Grey are used in the mission in the X-Mansion in which the team had to help rescue several trapped children.
Wolverine plays a larger role and in one point of the story he even travels into Asgard and manages to steal the Tesseract. Wolverine also helps in the defeating of some evil mutants such as Sabretooth.

The X-Men have several enemies most of which operate in the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. Other prominent enemies are the Sentinel which are designed to eliminate any mutant including the X-Men.

- The original members of the X-Men include Cyclops, Beast, Jean Grey, Iceman, and Archangel (Angel).
- Unlike most superheroes in the Marvel universe, the X-Men are detested by the general public as their mutants & mutants are fear and hated due to their species being presented as the next step in human evolution & mutant villains giving their species a bad name.
- Stan Lee's idea for the mutant species was to showcase civil rights & discrimination.
