Marvel is a comic company that participates in the creation of several video games. After LEGO obtained the validated license to borrow Marvel material, they created several video games in association with the video game development companies Traveller's Tales and Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment. Together LEGO managed to create its own LEGO Marvel Superheroes theme with several LEGO sets as well as a LEGO Marvel Superheroes game. A spin-off was released in 2016 titled LEGO Marvel's Avengers. A sequel was released in 2017.
