DC Comics is a comic company that participates in the creation of several videogames. After LEGO obtained the validated license to borrow DC Comics material, they created several videogames in association with the videogame development companies Traveller's Tales and Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment. Together LEGO managed to create its own LEGO DC Superheroes theme with several LEGO sets as well as a three part LEGO Batman series. This LEGO Batman series includes LEGO Batman: The Videogame, LEGO Batman 2: DC Superheroes and LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham.
Trivia
- DC Comics was the first superhero company licensed by LEGO. Several years after which LEGO obtained a license from Marvel.
